On some surfaces where it is appropriate the use of rubber can benefit the user. Rubber infill will not ‘get everywhere’ as claimed by some companies. Indeed the rubber may not transfer at all if it is correctly applied to the right surface. Rubber infill should only be used on deep pile carpet so that it filters into the pile. The rubber should not be overly visible on the surface. Many problems have occured in the past due to excess application with rubber sitting on the surface.
